Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify people in communities that need help
• Help clients adjust to changes in their lives, like divorce or unemployment 
• Refer clients to food stamps, childcare, and health care
• Provide psychotherapy sources
• Follow up with clients to be sure clients situations have improve

Salary: median annual wage $45,000 per year

Education

• Bachelors degree in social work 
• license or certification requirements
• some positions require masters degree 

Reflection: Would You Like To Be One Why? Or Why Not?

I wouldn't want to be social worker because it looks like a hard job and you need to work with people that may be inappropriate. And you need to help people a lot. And sometimes if a family isn't doing well you need to separate children from their parents and its sad when they're kids.
